FMES: Failure Modes and Effects Summary
========================================

The FMES (Failure Modes and Effects Summary) is a summary of lower level failure modes from the FMECA with the same conditions (usually effects).

The user can build the FMES using the top-left dropdown on ``FMECA > FMES``. The user select as many levels of the FMES as desired.

As it can be seen on the image above, the treeview shows the number of objects on the next level using tags.

A :ref:`fta_diagram` can be created based on this FMES view by clicking the ``Create Fault Tree`` button.

On the right side of the page, the user can see a chart with the Failure Modes contributing to each of the End Effects on the system.
